Appraiser Trainee
Ryan Valuations INC, a Minneapolis/St Paul based residential appraisal firm, is seeking an appraiser trainee to join our growing team in the Phoenix market.
The appraiser trainee position involves a minimum of 12-month training program focused on completing Arizona mandated requirements to obtain a Certified Appraiser position involves extensive training in appraisal practices, clerical responsibilities, field inspections, preparation, and development of appraisal reports under the supervision of a certified appraiser. Trainee appraisers must be proficient with mobile technology, writing skills, analytical skills and Microsoft Excel. This position will require a significant amount of 'at home' and fieldwork. The starting trainee compensation is $22/hour.
Trainee requirements:
Must be eligible to meet Current State Requirements to be Certified Residential Qualified as outlined in AZ Title 32 – (32-3614.01, 32-3615)
- Bachelors degree (or completion of specified college courses as indicated by Appraisal Foundation)
- 75 hours of pre-licensure classes
- Excellent written communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills
