Staff Appraiser

Base Annual Salary:

$90,000 - $120,000 based on experience

Position Summary:

As a Staff Appraiser for Center Street Lending, you will be working with the Appraisal Manager and will do desktop appraisals, appraisal reviews and risk analysis on assets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Create desktop appraisals for internal valuations (as-is and after-repaired values) for value-add projects
2. Gather and analyze data on comparable properties, market trends, and relevant economic factors to determine fair market value
3. Review appraisals from AMCs for correct data and values
4. Perform risk analysis on appraisals and verify values are within guidelines
5. Research property history, including title, tax, and zoning records
6. Must be detailed oriented and extremely organized
7. Collaborate with Loan Officers, Loan Processors and Underwriting when necessary
8. Identify and resolve any roadblocks to getting appraisals completed or reviewed on time

Experience and Qualifications:

• Must have a current certified or higher appraiser license in the state of California
• Experience appraising fix’n flip, ground-up construction, and land highly desirable
• Microsoft Excel and Outlook proficiency
• Experience with Encompass and Redbell/Homegenius a plus but not necessary
