Job Description
Base Annual Salary:
$90,000 - $120,000 based on experience

Position Summary:
As a Staff Appraiser for Center Street Lending, you will be working with the Appraisal Manager and will do desktop appraisals, appraisal reviews and risk analysis on assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create desktop appraisals for internal valuations (as-is and after-repaired values) for value-add projects
- Gather and analyze data on comparable properties, market trends, and relevant economic factors to determine fair market value
- Review appraisals from AMCs for correct data and values
- Perform risk analysis on appraisals and verify values are within guidelines
- Research property history, including title, tax, and zoning records
- Must be detailed oriented and extremely organized
- Collaborate with Loan Officers, Loan Processors and Underwriting when necessary
- Identify and resolve any roadblocks to getting appraisals completed or reviewed on time

Experience and Qualifications:
- Must have a current certified or higher appraiser license in the state of California
- Experience appraising fix’n flip, ground-up construction, and land highly desirable
- Microsoft Excel and Outlook proficiency
- Experience with Encompass and Redbell/Homegenius a plus but not necessary
