As the largest appraisal firm in the North Idaho/Eastern/Central Washington region we provide residential appraisal services to both lender clients and private parties including: attorney’s needing appraisals for both estate and divorce purposes, real estate agents needing a pre-listing value, and homeowners looking to sell their home independently. We have the largest client list of any firm in the region and a support staff that can support significant volume.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and qualified Licensed or Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser to join our team as a contractor or staff appraiser. We have the desire to add both current appraisers with their own book of business that are looking to expand or do more volume and appraisers that don’t have their own clients and would like to receive assignments directly from the company. We provide software, errors and omissions insurance, and an administrative assistant at no cost to you. The successful candidate will conduct accurate property valuations, prepare detailed appraisal reports, and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform residential property appraisals in accordance with USPAP and state regulations.
- Gather and analyze comparable property data, market trends, and property conditions.
- Prepare comprehensive appraisal reports with clear documentation of findings.
- Communicate findings effectively to clients, lenders, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of real estate market conditions and appraisal methodologies.
- Ensure all appraisals are completed within established deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Certified Residential Appraiser or Licensed Residential Appraiser in Washington. We are not taking on any new Trainee Appraisers at this time.
- Proven experience in residential property appraisal.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and high level of integrity.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with appraisal software and tools.
- Knowledge of local real estate market dynamics.
