Residential Appraiser

The Sioux City Assessor's office is looking for a new residential field appraiser. Field appraisers collect data to ensure that the assessments are appraisers are fast paced learners, who are comfortable dealing with the public, have an attentions to detail, and enjoy working in the field and in the office. Field work will consist of measuring properties, taking photos, and gather listing background is helpful but not required. Must be self motivated, good communicator, detail oriented individual, have a positive attitude, and work well in a team setting.

Responsibilities:

Individual will accurately measure the exterior of buildings, inspect the interior of the buildings, record construction details. After collection, individual is responsible for information getting accurately entered into the CAMA system. Individual will also need to answer the phone and communicate with properties owners in person, through email, and answer phone calls. Appraisers work as a team to ensure data is being collected and entered uniformly across the city.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $29.16 per hour
