About the Role
Are you a Certified Residential Appraiser who loves the analytical side of the job but is tired of driving thousands of miles, dealing with angry realtors, and haggling over bids?
We are a rapidly growing, tech-forward appraisal firm transitioning from a traditional operator model to a scalable enterprise. We are looking for a highly skilled, detail-oriented Report Writer to join our team remotely.
In this role, you will be the final analytical brain of our local inspectors will handle the fieldwork, client communication, and data job is simply to take that clean, pre-packaged field data and write an "A-grade" appraisal report. This is a flexible, lifestyle-accommodating role perfect for a semi-retired appraiser, a working parent, or an experienced professional looking to step away from the windshield time.
What You Will Do (The Day-to-Day)
- Pure Valuation: Complete the desktop write-up and valuation analysis using field data, sketches, and photos provided by our local inspection team.
- Quality Control: Maintain our strict "A-grade" standard for minimal revision rates.
- UAD 3.6 Readiness: Write high-fidelity, accurate reports that align with the upcoming UAD 3.6 standards (we will provide resources and guidance on our systems).
- Collaborate Remotely: Communicate efficiently with our field inspectors and admin team to clarify any property anomalies or data gaps.
What You Will NOT Do
- No driving to inspections.
- No bidding, quoting, or fee negotiations.
- No chasing down engagement letters or managing client intake.
Qualifications
- License: Active Certified Residential Appraiser license (Nationwide applicants welcome).
- Market Experience: Experience in the Missouri (MO) and Kansas (KS) markets is highly preferred but not strictly required for the right analytical mind.
- Tech-Comfortable: Willingness to use modern workflow systems (we use a mix of, Google Workspace, and proprietary tech to make your life easier).
- Efficiency: Ability to confidently turn around highly accurate reports within our established timelines.
