Job Description
Real Property Appraiser I
Performs intermediate skilled technical work appraising real property for assessment and tax purposes, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Real Property Appraiser Supervisor.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree with coursework in business, or related field and one to three years experience as a real property appraisal technician, working in real estate, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Special Comments:
North Carolina Department of Revenue Real Property Appraiser certification within one (1) year of hire.
Valid North Carolina Driver’s License within 60 days of hire.
