Atlas Valuation, a full-service real estate appraisal firm, is seeking a qualified candidate that has interest in becoming an Appraiser Trainee and eventually a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser. The company specializes in the appraisal of primarily commercial real estate and some residential appraisal as well. Our primary market is the Auburn/Opelika area, but the firm does perform real estate appraisals in surrounding markets, such as Columbus, Montgomery, Dothan, and Birmingham.

Required Skills:

• Strong analytical and research skills
• Strong writing skills and attention to detail
• A bachelors degree of any field is required (Real Estate, Finance, or Economic related field is preferred but not required).

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct property inspections and gather relevant property data
• Gather and interpret market data
• Verify real estate transactions
• Assist in writing narrative appraisal reports
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of appraisal principles and practices
