Real Estate Appraiser Trainee

Atlas Valuation, a full-service real estate appraisal firm, is seeking a qualified candidate that has interest in becoming an Appraiser Trainee and eventually a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser. The company specializes in the appraisal of primarily commercial real estate. Our primary market is the Auburn/Opelika area, but the firm does perform real estate appraisals in surrounding markets, such as Columbus, Montgomery, Dothan, and Birmingham.

Required Skills

Strong analytical and research skills
Strong writing skills and attention to detail
A bachelors degree of any field is required (Real Estate, Finance, or Economic related field is preferred but not required).

Job Responsibilities

Conduct property inspections and gather relevant property data
Gather and interpret market data
Verify real estate transactions
Assist in writing narrative appraisal reports
Develop a comprehensive understanding of appraisal principles and practices
