Real Estate Appraiser (Desktop / Litigation Support – Contract)

Local family-run real estate investment group is seeking an experienced real estate appraiser for desktop valuation and litigation support work related to condemnation, easement, and right-of-way matters.

This role is focused on practical, supportable analysis, not full narrative appraisal reports. We are looking for someone who can move quickly and provide clear value insight across multiple properties.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform desktop valuations (no site visits required unless preferred)
  • Analyze before-and-after values related to easements or takings
  • Provide input on potential damages / impact to remainder property
  • Review aerials, surveys, plats, and market data
  • Deliver concise value ranges and supporting rationale
  • Communicate findings clearly for litigation support purposes

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with eminent domain / condemnation / easement valuation
  • Certified Appraiser (TX preferred), or strong relevant experience
  • Familiarity with DFW / North Texas markets is a plus
  • Comfortable working on restricted-use or desktop assignments
  • Ability to turn around assignments quickly
