Property types include new construction and historical homes, land value appraisals and small plex properties, from the simple to the very complex, we have valuation professionals that have the knowledge, experience, and expertise to appraise any residential property type. Our clients include banks and mortgage companies but as a boutique firm with a wealth of experience, much of our focus is on non-lender work related to estate and gift tax purposes, dissolution settlements, tax appeals, bankruptcies, title claims and other litigation assignments. Job Summary

This position will work under the supervision of a senior licensed appraiser in pursuit of a Certified Residential Appraisal License. The individual will need to be able to thrive in both independent and team environments. Great communication and writing skills are required and experience with excel and data science/statistics is desired. Responsibilities will include front end research and documentation, property inspection assistance, statistical analysis, market participant interviews and production of residential appraisal reports with the oversight of a supervisory appraiser.

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Administrative responsibilities including scheduling, interviewing and file management of residential appraisals.

  2. Assist in the collection and organization of real estate information and data related to specific assignments.

  3. Perform real property inspections under the supervision of a senior licensed appraiser.

  4. Assist in the analysis for data necessary to develop credible opinions of value under the supervision of a senior licensed appraiser.

  5. Assist in the writing of appraisal reports including but not limited to property descriptions, analysis and conclusions.

  • Research and review surveys, plats, leases, operating income statements, deeds, and other legal documents
  • Inspection of real property
  • Post inspection data entry, and clean-up
  • Assist in the analysis and synthesis of collected data
  • Assist in the writing of reports

Education and Experience Requirements
