Job Description
Pritchard & Abbott, Inc. is currently accepting resumes for a real estate (residential, commercial, personal property) appraiser. The areas we are looking for is Abilene, Tx; Wichita Falls, Tx; FT Worth, Tx; Cooper, Tx; and will consider other locations as well. The appraiser’s responsibilities include physical inspection of real and personal properties, data collection, discovering and identifying new properties, physically measuring and classifying all improvements and land types within the county, defending appraisals at informal protest hearings and before the ARB, and other duties assigned to the appraiser.
Preferred qualifications for the position include a high school diploma or higher level of education, the desire to learn appraisal theory, land and improvement classifications, and basic building construction techniques, MS Office (Word & Excel), and communicate effectively with the public. Must be able to take and complete Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation courses relating to the Registered Professional Appraiser licensing requirements or currently hold an RPA license. Must have a clean driving record.
Salary range will be contingent upon qualifications and commensurate with experience. Employer paid medical insurance, 401(k), and company stock.
