This role plays a critical part in maintaining the integrity of Dart by verifying that appraisals meet all necessary criteria and support the decision-making process for our clients.

Job Summary: We are looking for a licensed or certified appraiser to work 40 hours per week. This reviewer will join our dedicated review team and be committed to upholding the highest standards in the industry. We believe that quality control is paramount to our success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performs quality control audits of residential appraisal reports ensuring adherence to industry standards, client requirements and Dart Appraisal standards.
• Verify that the appraisal values align with loan guidelines, property types, and market conditions.
• Review and assess appraisal reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
• Identify discrepancies, inconsistencies, or errors in appraisal reports and work with the appraiser to resolve.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulations, guidelines and market trends.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues and drive corrective actions.
• Assist in the development and implementation of quality control processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Prepare and present reports on quality control findings and trends to management.

Requirements:

• Licensed or Certified Real Estate Appraiser.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage appraisal review, mortgage underwriting, or related field.
• Familiarity with appraisal standards, methods, and terminology, including USPAP (Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice).
• Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Must be able to work in a high-volume production environment and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during evening hours.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools used in appraisal management.
