Overview
Hotel & Leisure Advisors is expanding our consulting team and is recruiting for a senior- or entry-level Feasibility/Valuation Analyst in our Cleveland, Ohio office.
Considering a career change? H&LA is seeking accountants, revenue managers, and financial analysts with a hospitality background who want to apply their industry expertise in a consulting environment. We also welcome recent graduates with degrees in hospitality, finance, real estate, or a related field who are interested in building a career in hospitality consulting.
Our team specializes in feasibility studies, valuations, operational reviews, market and economic impact analyses for a wide range of hospitality and leisure assets, including hotels, resorts, indoor waterparks, casinos, conference and convention centers, golf courses, ski resorts, and other work on projects across North America for developers, investors, municipalities, and tribal organizations.
Essential Functions
- Prepare appraisals, feasibility studies, impact analyses, and other consulting assignments
- Analyze market conditions, competitive supply, and demand trends within hospitality and leisure markets
- Collect, verify, and analyze market data from myriad industry sources
- Conduct interviews with industry stakeholders, property managers, and local market representatives
- Travel for site visits and field work (approximately 30% of average work month)
- Support business development efforts and represent the firm at industry conferences and events
- May perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
· Bachelor's or graduate degree in Hospitality Management, Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field
· 0–2+ years of relevant experience in hospitality, attractions, entertainment, finance, or real estate; experience in appraisal, accounting, or financial analysis is a plus
· Strong commitment to quality, integrity, and thorough research in hospitality consulting and real estate valuation
· Excellent analytical, writing, organizational, communication, and multi-tasking skills
· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
· Valid passport and ability to travel for fieldwork
· Ability to obtain a Certified General Appraiser license in Ohio (company support provided toward licensing requirements)

Our performance-based compensation system rewards productivity and professional development. In addition, we provide the opportunity for advancement based on achievable benchmarks of professional development and experience. The salary range is commensurate with experience and is between $60K – $100K, with incentive and bonus compensation available after the training period. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
