Description of Work

In this critical position, you will assess the necessary methods to establish property values. Your responsibilities include identifying any concealed issues or omissions not reflected in the plans and reporting minor plan modifications to the supervisor. If a claimant is involved, these changes will be processed through the Right-of-Way office program, while more significant concerns that could impact deadlines will require a formal response. The supervisor will review your completed work to ensure compliance with state and federal appraisal standards.

Work Schedule and Additional Information

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday – Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days a week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Oil City.
  • Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

Qualifications

Special Requirements:

  • All positions require possession of an active Pennsylvania Certified General Real Estate Appraiser certification.
  • All positions require possession of an active motor vehicle license.
