Role Overview

California Home Appraisals is looking for a licensed or certified residential appraiser to perform on-site field inspections and data collection for residential appraisal reports. This role is ideal for an appraiser who enjoys field work and wants to avoid the long hours of report production, client management, and office admin.

What You’ll Do

✔ Inspect residential properties on-site

✔ Capture interior/exterior photos and condition notes

✔ Measure homes (ANSI standard)

✔ Observe property characteristics, materials, upgrades, and marketability

✔ Collect data accurately and upload to our workflow system

✔ Maintain a high-degree of professionalism with homeowners and agents

Requirements

Active California Licensed or Certified Residential Appraiser
E&O insurance
Reliable transportation
Strong observational skills and attention to detail
Comfortable interacting with homeowners professionally
Ability to follow clear inspection & documentation standards
