Contract Appraiser (Non-Lender Focus) – South Suburbs & Chicago

We’re a small Southwest Suburban Chicago area appraisal firm with strong admin + customer support, streamlined systems (tech/mobile workflow), scheduling and steady non-lender work (divorce, estate, pre-listing & and many other purposes) with lending work opportunities as well when we choose them. We are looking for a Contract Certified Residential or Certified General.

We are looking for an appraiser who is personable with clients on-site, responsive by email/mobile, and experience or significant desire to produce well-supported reports. We may have some opportunities for someone who wants to mostly do property observations only as well.

You’ll cover: Mostly South Cook County (but some opportunities in Central to North Cook County assignments and parts of Will to South DuPage County).

We offer: Guaranteed monthly pay, favorable splits or fee agreements, efficiency guidance, optional “inspections-only,” office help (data entry/scheduling), and training pathways—including exposure to multifamily (2–4 & 5+ apartments), land, mixed-use, and select small to moderate commercial. We also offer training on advanced support for typical to complex property types.

You bring: TOTAL (a la mode), MLS access, E&O. Candidate pluses: tech-savvy, hopeful mobile appraisal experience, adjustment support and pluses being statistical and analytic tool experience as well as Microsoft Word, Excel etc. to those interested in CG type work.

For Certified General Appraisers

We also complete select commercial work and 5+ unit multifamily to mixed use work. If you’re CG and interested in partnering or growing our commercial side—or taking overflow fits—let’s talk. We do complete some narrative commercial work but refer out more than we complete so there may be some opportunity to alter or add to our practice.
