Job Summary

We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Real Estate Appraiser based in or near Miami, Florida to join our team of senior MAI-designated professionals, operating out of our Miami/Caribbean office.

This role will cover a diverse territory spanning Palm Beach County to the Florida Keys as well as the Caribbean islands. You’ll gain hands-on experience with complex valuation assignments across a variety of property types and purposes—including:

• Financial reporting
• Acquisition
• Mortgage lending
• Portfolio analysis
• Eminent domain
• Estate planning

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research, market analysis, and valuations for a broad spectrum of commercial real estate assets
• Inspect properties
• Prepare detailed appraisal and consulting reports tailored to client needs
• Work alongside senior-level appraisers and MAI-designated professionals
• Interface directly with clients, providing clear, data-supported insights
• Contribute to high-profile projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Potential to participate in the growth of the Miami/Caribbean office

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Skilled in preparing appraisals and reviews for complex properties
• Solid understanding of valuation principles, CRE terminology, and property tax jurisdictional processes and procedures
• Self-starter mindset with a passion for professional growth
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and valuation/reporting tools (e.g., Argus, Excel, CoStar)
• Responsive and collaborative approach with leadership and clients throughout assignments

Education and Work Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• Active Florida Certified General Appraiser License required
• Minimum of 2+ years of broad property type professional experience as a Commercial Real Estate Appraiser
• MAI designation or candidacy is a plus, but not required
• Reliable personal vehicle and valid auto insurance required for travel within the designated territory
• Primarily an in-office role (with some exceptions)
• Applicants must be based in or near Miami, Florida
