Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Real Estate Appraiser, where you will play a vital role in valuing commercial properties to support investment decisions, financing, and portfolio management. You will conduct thorough property inspections, perform market research, and prepare comprehensive appraisal reports that adhere to industry standards and regulatory guidelines. Your expertise will help clients make informed decisions in the fast-paced world of commercial real estate.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct on-site inspections of commercial properties to assess condition, features, and marketability.
  • Collect and analyze data related to property size, location, zoning, comparable sales, comparable leases, income and expense data, and investment parameters.
  • Utilize GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools and other financial software to support data collection and spatial analysis.
  • Perform quantitative research on market trends, economic factors, and local development plans impacting property values.
  • Prepare detailed appraisal reports that clearly communicate findings and support valuation conclusions.
  • Collaborate with accounting teams, construction professionals, and real estate experts to gather necessary information for comprehensive appraisals.

Experience

  • Experience in real estate appraisal or related fields such as accounting, construction, or financial analysis preferred.
  • Strong understanding of financial concepts including valuation methods, market analysis, discounted cash flow analysis, and investment metrics.
  • Proficiency in using financial software tools and GIS applications for data collection and spatial analysis.
  • Excellent math skills combined with the ability to interpret complex data sets for accurate valuation reporting.
