Local real estate company in Claremont is seeking to fill a position for a Commercial Real Estate Appraiser and/or Trainee.

1. Experienced Appraiser

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in commercial real estate appraisal
• Focus on commercial and residential income properties throughout the San Gabriel Valley and Inland Empire
• 4-year degree with a major or minor in Real Estate (or closely related field)
• Certified General Appraisal License required
• Strong writing, oral communication, and analytical skills are essential

2. Trainee

• Currently possess or actively working toward a 4-year degree and/or Certified General Appraisal License
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong interest in commercial real estate and appraisal preferred

Job Description

The appraisal of commercial real estate involves a combination of office and fieldwork. Properties are inspected and evaluated in the field prior to the preparation of an appraisal report. Day-to-day interaction with other real estate professionals and competent evaluation of financial and economic data form the basis for a well-supported of the report requires the ability to communicate findings in a concise and persuasive manner.
