Commercial Appraiser-in-Residence Opportunity (Hospitality /Adaptive Reuse) – Chevy Chase, MD

Wentworth Studio is exploring a partnership with a licensed commercial real estate appraiser interested in working from our studio in Chevy Chase and collaborating with our team on redevelopment feasibility and adaptive reuse projects.

Wentworth specializes in the restoration and transformation of historic and period homes across Washington DC and Maryland, and we are expanding into advisory work related to hospitality, multifamily, and adaptive reuse opportunities.

We are interested in partnering with an appraiser who would benefit from working alongside a collaborative studio environment that includes:

Architects
Construction professionals
Estimators
Historic renovation specialists

Collaboration Opportunity

We are also looking for an appraiser willing to mentor an appraisal trainee(s) pursuing licensure.

This partnership could be a great fit for an independent appraiser who enjoys working in a professional studio environment rather than from home amongst peers in the industry including architects, estimators, and designers.

Ideal Experience

Licensed commercial real estate appraiser
Hospitality or multifamily valuation experience preferred
Interest in adaptive reuse and redevelopment projects
Ability to mentor appraisal trainees
