Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser

Overview

KLW Appraisal Group is looking for a NYS Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser to join our team. We are a full service, real estate appraisal company based in Buffalo, New York and have been in business for 30 years. Our company is comprised of 3 departments, commercial, residential & municipal. This role is in our residential department. The ideal candidate must be detail oriented, motivated, and possess strong writing and research skills and have a solid understanding of the western New York real estate markets.

Duties

• Complete residential real estate appraisals that are compliant in accordance with Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) in a timely fashion while meeting turnaround time requirements.
• Collect and analyze data from various sources, including public records, property listings, and market trends to support appraisal conclusions.
• Utilize appraisal software to create detailed appraisal reports that clearly communicate findings and valuation conclusions.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to real estate appraisal practices.
• Proactive and effective communication with administrative staff to minimize delays or problems in the appraisal process.
• Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and legal requirements affecting real estate appraisals.

Qualifications

• Certified NYS Residential Appraiser credential in good standing. Recently certified is welcome.
• NYS Licensed Appraisers welcome.
• Proficient in real estate appraisal techniques and methodologies.
• FHA/HUD approved preferred but not required.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Commitment to professional growth and continuous learning.
• Proficient computer skills, to include Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, etc.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
