We're growing and have an opportunity for a Certified Residential Appraiser in the Chicago metro area to join our team. What you will be doing

You are the appraiser and own the assignment from start to finish:

Engage with CSR for assignments Schedule the property visit Conduct property observation via mobile technology appraising Research, analyse and reconcile market data into a supported opinion of value Coordinate with internal QC and client for any report clarification

This is not a desk-only or hybrid-support role.

What we are looking for

Required:

Active Illinois Certified Residential Appraiser licence (Certified General also welcome) Minimum 5 years of residential appraisal experience in the Chicago metro market Real knowledge of Chicago – the neighborhoods and the suburbs. Not just textbook knowledge Complies with USPAP and current GSE guidelines Proficiency with TOTAL by a la mode and aware of emerging technologies Comfortable conducting field inspections with a tablet device Valid US driving licence and reliable vehicle

Preferred:

Experience working within AMCs Openness to learn and grow with new types of assignments including litigation and property taxation

Compensation

Fee split of 50–60% based on level of experience. This is a high-volume engagement - your earnings scale with your quality output.
