About the Opportunity

Valicity LLC, a modern and efficient real estate appraisal company in Northern California, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Certified General Appraiser to lead our new commercial division. This is a unique opportunity to build and shape a commercial appraisal department from the ground up, with the full support and backing of a non-competing owner dedicated to your success. You will be the first commercial appraiser in our office, paving the way for growth and enjoying the benefits of a high-floor salary with significant earning potential. Get out of the big office and start something new, there is a HUGE need in Northern California and Southern Oregon and we intend to fill it.

What You'll Do

As our Head of Commercial, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

• Conducting property inspections and market analysis for a wide range of commercial properties.
• Preparing detailed and well-supported appraisal reports.
• Building and maintaining client relationships.
• Growing the commercial appraisal business with the support of the owner.
• Potentially mentoring and managing a trainee as the department expands.

What You'll Need

Required:

• A valid Certified General Appraiser license (non-negotiable).
• Experience in a variety of commercial appraisal applications

Preferred:

• A California Certified General Appraiser license. (We will pay for reciprocity for out-of-state licensed appraisers).
• Knowledge of the California real estate market, particularly in Northern California.
• Previous experience in residential appraisal.
• Experience in pricing jobs
