Job Description
Functions
The role focuses on the development, analysis, and signing of real estate appraisal reports in the United States, ensuring compliance with applicable professional and regulatory standards, high technical quality, and client main responsibilities include:
- Prepare, review, and sign real estate appraisal reports in accordance with USPAP standards and applicable state and federal regulations.
- Analyze the real estate market, primarily in Florida, compiling and structuring relevant data on sales, income, costs, and expenses.
- Collect, analyze, and validate physical, legal, regulatory, and market information required for accurate asset valuation.
- Conduct market research and financial analyses supporting value conclusions.
- Act as the authorized signatory, ensuring independence, confidentiality, quality control, and ethical compliance.
- Interact with clients and local counterparts for data collection, technical clarifications, and delivery coordination.
- Support the development and consolidation of the firm’s appraisal operations in the United States by contributing technical and local
Required Certifications (Mandatory)
- State-Certified General Real Estate Appraiser
- Active Florida state license.
- Legally authorized to prepare and sign commercial real estate appraisals in the U.S. under USPAP.
- USPAP Certification – Current Cycle
- Valid Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice certification, required to practice and sign appraisal reports in the U.S.
Preferred Certifications (Optional – Value Added)
- Reciprocity Eligibility / Additional State Licenses
- Additional licenses or eligibility to practice in other U.S. states through reciprocity agreements.
- MAI – Appraisal Institute
- Advanced designation for commercial appraisers.
- Highly regarded technically and reputationally; not required to start.
- Continuing Education in Commercial Appraisal
- Advanced courses or certifications in income-producing assets, financial modeling, or U.S. commercial real estate markets.
