Role Description

We are hiring a full-time Appraiser Trainee to join our team in Lumberton, TX. This is a hybrid role with the ability to work from home on certain tasks. The trainee will assist with property inspections, collect and analyze data, help prepare appraisal reports, and work directly with licensed appraisers throughout the process.

We provide structured training and hands-on guidance to ensure you obtain all experience hours required for licensure. Flexibility with work hours is important, as inspection schedules and workloads can vary.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, research, and critical-thinking skills

• High attention to detail and accuracy in data collection

• Clear and professional communication skills

• Basic understanding of real estate concepts (appraisal experience is a plus)

• Proficient with technology, including Microsoft Office and data-entry tools

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Willingness to learn, take instruction, and pursue state appraiser licensure

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree required; additional education in real estate, finance, or business is helpful
