The purpose for the Appraiser Trainee position is to enable the individual to gain comprehensive training and field experience in a supervised environment. The Trainee will focus on property inspections, data entry for appraisal reports, data analysis, market research, order communication, inspection scheduling and expanding appraisal knowledge.

Main Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Residential Appraisal Inspection experience
• Data entry for appraisal reports as directed by Supervising Appraiser
• Conducting data analysis and market research needed for appraisal reports and market knowledge
• Coordinate communication on all appraisal order process milestones through multiple platforms and formats
• Coordinate residential property inspections for Trainee and the Supervising Appraiser
• Researching and utilizing proprietary and third-party technology resources to ensure proficiency and accuracy of the appraisal process for the Trainee and Supervising Appraiser
• Conduct residential property inspections with Supervising Appraiser
• Undergo training, periodic testing and continued education as deemed necessary to maintain licensure and improve skill set.
• Support assigned Supervisor in meeting / exceeding monthly minimum production requirements as assigned
• Meet all client and company Service Level Agreements
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Entrepreneurial spirit and self-starter
• Familiarity with appraisal software, mobile appraisal applications, third party appraisal resource tools, Microsoft Office 365 suite of products and appraisal management systems
• Candidate should be perceived as ambitious, enthusiastic, self-confident, versatile, and willing to learn
• Candidate should possess excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to work individually and in a team environment
• Candidate should be able to communicate effectively, build credibility and trust, analyze problems, and make decisions, and learn continuously
• Candidate should possess leadership qualities (leading self and others)
• Candidate should possess strong analytical skills along with a creative mindset.
• Enrolled and / or completing coursework needed to become an Appraiser Trainee and Licensed / Certified Licensed Appraiser
