Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in South Arlington, TX, for an Appraiser Trainee. The Appraiser Trainee will assist licensed appraisers in conducting property inspections, gathering and analyzing real estate market data, and preparing appraisal reports. The role involves working closely with senior team members to support accurate property valuations and client solutions. Responsibilities include research, data validation, report preparation, and learning state and federal appraisal standards.
Qualifications
- Analytical and research skills: Ability to gather, validate, and analyze real estate market data effectively.
- Detail-oriented and organizational skills: Ability to manage data, prioritize tasks, and create accurate reports in a timely fashion.
- Proficiency in relevant tools: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Excel and Word, and willingness to learn appraisal-specific software.
- Communication and interpersonal skills: Clear written and verbal communication with clients and team members, as well as the ability to work collaboratively.
- Educational qualifications: Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, business, or a related discipline preferred. Relevant coursework in real estate valuation is a plus.
- Licensure: Willingness to pursue or currently enrolled in a state-approved Appraiser Trainee program.
- Other: A valid driver's license and ability to travel locally for property appraisals.
