Appraiser Technician

This Class Is the First Level in a Two Level Appraisal Series. Incumbents Are Responsible for Performing Inspections of Real and Personal Property and Entering Results of Inspections into Applicable Computer Database.

Core Areas of Responsibilities

Researches Data and Provides Compilation of Real and Personal Property Field Review Information. Prepares and Edits Reports.
Maintains and Enters Data in Automated Appraisal System Related to Real or Personal Property Details.
Responds to Customer Property Inquiries by Providing Information and Assistance. Assists with the Property Returns, Exemption Applications and Information Related to Property Assets and Depreciation.
Performs Field Inspections of Real and Personal Property. Verifies Property Measurements and Property Improvements. Collects Information Related to Property Attributes to Assist in Appraisals.
Assists Taxpayers in the Review of Property Assessment Valuation. Researches and Provides Inspection Information. Enters Authorized Valuation Adjustments as Required.
Prepares Board Materials for Annual Review. Reviews and Processes Personal Property Returns.
Researches and Maintains Account Data of Aircraft Personal Property. Processes Personal Property Filing Forms.
Performs Other Duties of a Similar Nature and Level as Assigned.
