The purpose of this classification is to perform specialized work associated with appraising real property to determine appropriate values for tax assessment purposes. Duties and responsibilities include inspecting and measuring real property, preparing documentation and maintaining records, conducting research, collecting data, providing information to taxpayers, and performing other duties as assigned.
