Role Description

This is a part-time to full time, on-site role for an Appraiser Apprentice based in New York, NY. The Appraiser Apprentice will assist certified appraisers in evaluating properties by conducting site visits, gathering and analyzing data, and preparing reports. Responsibilities also include researching market trends, maintaining organized records, and ensuring compliance with relevant appraisal standards and practices. The role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in property valuation while working alongside experienced professionals.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and research skills to assess property value and market trends
• Attention to detail and accuracy in collecting, reviewing, and organizing data
• Familiarity with real estate concepts, property appraisal processes, and related documentation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports and collaborating with team members
• Proficiency with standard software tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and ability to learn appraisal-specific software
• Ability to work independently and on-site in New York, NY
• Bachelor's degree or enrollment in a field related to real estate, finance, or a similar discipline is a plus
• A passion for real estate and a willingness to learn and grow within the appraisal field
